Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using Lumina, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Lumina. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use the app with the consent of a parent or guardian.

Lumina is a personal vocabulary-learning tool, provided free of charge for individual, non-commercial use. There are no purchases, no subscriptions, and no advertising anywhere in the app.

Lumina is a portfolio project, not a commercial service. It is distributed as a downloadable Android package (APK) rather than through an app store. You install it at your own discretion, and you are responsible for the security settings of your own device.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for everything that happens under your account. Please create only one account per person. Tell us at contact@lhkspace.com if you believe someone else is using your account.

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

Lumina includes social features — a public display name, friend codes, friend requests, nudges, duels and league standings — which means other users can see things you set. You agree not to:

• ·use a display name that is abusive, hateful, sexually explicit, impersonates someone else, or contains another person’s personal information;
• ·harass other users through nudges, duel invitations, or friend requests;
• ·attempt to manipulate XP, lumens, streaks, league standings or contest results by any means other than actually using the app;
• ·attempt to access another user’s account or data;
• ·use automated tools, scripts, or modified builds of the app to interact with our systems.

The word database, translations, example sentences, pronunciation guides and other educational content in Lumina are provided for personal educational use only.

Some content — in particular the English example sentences, part-of-speech labels and pronunciation transcriptions — was generated with the assistance of AI tools and reviewed on a sampled basis. We make reasonable efforts to keep it accurate, but we do not warrant that any content is complete, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose, including exams or professional translation. Do not rely on Lumina as an authoritative reference.

The Lumina app, its name, its design and its curated content are owned by LHK Space. You may not redistribute the app, sell it, use it commercially, or create derivative works from it or its content without our prior written permission.

Where the source code is published publicly, it is published for reference and portfolio purposes only. Publication does not grant a licence: all rights are reserved unless a licence file explicitly says otherwise.

Lumina includes a virtual currency called Lumens, earned by using the app. Lumens have no real-world monetary value. They cannot be bought, sold, exchanged for money, transferred between users, or redeemed for anything outside the app. We may modify, reset, or discontinue the Lumens system, or any item it buys, at any time. The same applies to XP, levels, streaks, achievements and league standings.

Lumina is a personal project maintained on a best-effort basis. We may change, suspend, or permanently discontinue the app — or any feature of it, including the online and social features — at any time and without notice. If keeping your progress matters to you, do not rely on the app being available indefinitely.

Lumina is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, free of harmful components, or that any data you store in it will be preserved.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LHK Space shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits or loss of goodwill, arising from or relating to your use of — or inability to use — Lumina.

We may suspend or terminate your access to Lumina at our discretion, without notice, if we believe you have breached these Terms or acted in a way harmful to other users or to us. You may terminate at any time by deleting your account.

Your use of Lumina is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data the app collects and what other users can see.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Israel.

We may update these Terms at any time. When we do, the effective date above changes. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
